RX-0 Unicorn Gundam has just arrived

Got my MG RX-0 Unicorn Gundam today. Below are some shots of its box unopened.



I asked an officemate that is currently based in hongkong to buy this for me since he is about to go back to manila for a meeting with us. Luckily, that weekend there was a sale in Toy's R Us hongkong and I was able to get this kit for PHP 1930.00 which is around PHP 750-800 less in local price. It was a great deal. Thanks Pheckz! (sa uulitin).

I have to get back to Hongkong once to haul a huge load of gundams! imagine the price from toy's r us? I bet other private stores might even sell gundams for much lesser. I think its also time since that last time I went out of the country was when I was still a kid and that time the destination was hongkong. But apparently I was very young then so no gundams for me T_T.

This makes my current backlog to:
1. NG 1/100 Dynames
2. MG 1/100 Unicorn Gundam

Loaded and ready to go!

Equipment Checklist for Gunpla:

1. Basic Tools --> Check!
Tamiya basic tool set, some brushes, putty, bluetack, cement, ETC. All the basic need of modelers.



2. Work Station --> Check!
Fan was bought from ACE San Lazaro and the frame was done by my pal Mc. Thanks men! :)



3. AirBrush and Compressor --> Check!
Bought my very first AB from lil's park square. bought a basic one since im just a beginner :) maybe I'll upgrade to a dual action in the near future.



4. Paint and Weathering kits --> Check!
From lil's also. colors that were bought are specifically for my current WIP (Work In Progress) GM - Amuro Custom.




5. Mask --> Check!
Last but not the least, since protecting my health is also important! Bought from ACE San Lazaro as well.



Equipment 100% complete! Ready to go. Just have to finish some stuff before I start painting! Ikkimasu :)

on the Nth-hour of Bert-Day My true love gave to me..

On the 11th hour of Bert-Day my true love gave to me a call that she's in the Philippines.

On the 18th hour of Bert-Day my true love gave to me 1 Canon Powershot A590is.



On the 18.5 hour of Bert-Day my true love gave to me 1 HG 1/100 Gundam Dynames.



Anyway its tiresome to do this like singing, so as a whole I was really grateful that she came home during my birthday and at the same time sad that she had to leave the day after. its like having a dream.

a very short dream I had,.. ;)

I was able to meet my girlfriend last weekend after 3 months I think of being away from each other due to work and location issues (in our case more of country location issue :p ).

She came home to celebrate my birthday with me and we ate like pigs at Kaya (SM Megamall) and Tender Bob's (Greenhills Promenade).

I love this burger. I would recommend this to other burger lovers.


This is something my girlfriend enjoyed but I dont due to the fact that I dont really like steak that much.

After eating this much, believe me there are still a number of dishes that I didnt post as I am getting lazy right now. With this I can say that one of our (my GF and me) enjoys together is eating and trying out restaurants that we havent tried yet.

A Short review of both restaurants:
Both restaurants serve good food for a very affordable prize. Specially Tender Bob's. I would say that it was a very "ecstatic" experience eating at that restaurant. Even when we said their nachos was a bit "makunat" they immeadiately ask us if we want to exchange it for another dish(Without talking to their manager or anything which is really good as it didnt cause any hassle on our part). But still we opted to just eat the nachos as I was already enjoying it and might get "bitin" if I dont continue hehe :p If you havent eaten at tender bob's yet I suggest you try it or else you would be missing on a very great dining experience. ^_^

Overall I enjoyed my birthday except for the fact that my GF had to leave during the night of my birthday :(

Welcome to a new outlook in life :)

Since my birthday is almost near and to start this blog, I would like to promise myself a few things..

1. Live Life to the fullest

2. Save enough and spend enough

3. Make a comeback in the gunpla (gundam plastic model kits) hobby and take it even further by painting and modding units

4. 8 hours a day is enough work hours

5. RELAX ^_^

Also, I would like to share a few things about my new company today since I haven't had the chance yet.

1. We are required to log into the company website each morning when we come in. This serves as our time-in.

2. When your under probation, you would hate being late as it means deduction to your already salary T_T.

3. They do announce birthdays in the same website I mentioned in #1. If your fortunate enough to have your birthday on a weekend, there is still no escape. The system would indicate "Advance happy birthday". There is really no escape treating your officemates when this kind of system is in place. Sadly, my birthday is in the same month my first month in the company is.
